OIFE has signed Declaration on Rare and Complex Diseases
OIFE has officially endorsed and signed the Declaration on a European Innovation and Care Ecosystem for Rare and Complex Diseases. OIFE proudly supports the Declaration launched at the High Level Meeting for Rare and Complex Diseases (HLM Rare) in December 2025.
This important political and strategic commitment, co-created with patients, healthcare professionals, ERNs, academia and industry, outlines 8 Priority Actions to tackle fragmentation, improve access to diagnosis and treatment, strengthen clinical research, and secure sustainable funding for European Reference Networks in the 2028–2034 EU framework.
By signing the Declaration, we will help:
