The scientific conferences on OI, which happen every 3rd year, are primarily for scientists and clinicians working with OI, but appointed representatives from OI-organizations are also welcome to attend. This year the conference ICOI 2025 took place in Asia for the first time, hosted by dr. Michael To from Hong Kong.

The meeting programme for the patient group meeting included:

• Presentations about the organizations – getting to know each other across borders
• Important patient-led projects going on in Asia, Europe and other parts of the world
• Updates on international clinical trials on OI
• Information on how patient advocacy groups can engage in research & development

The meeting was followed by a lovely dinner – hosted by dr. To himself. A big thank you to you for inviting us and for being such a wonderful host!

And also many thanks to all the contributors for our East Meets West meeting for patient groups. It was all about sharing experiences, ideas and examples from Asia, Australia, South Africa, Europe and the USA.

Together we can do anything!
